Skating on Lake Afton...

Welcome to Bits of Bucks.  Here we'll post things to do and places to visit in Bucks County, PA.  First off is a time honored tradition if you live in the Lower Bucks area; skating on Lake Afton in Yardley borough. With the very cold temperatures we've had the past week, this family favorite was sure to freeze.  You can always find hockey players, figure skaters, Moms, Dads, some with and without skates, enjoying being on the ice.  So be sure to give this place a try if you've never been here.  All you need is a couple of days of sub-freezing temps, a pair of skates, and you should be good to go.  Have fun!
